Knowsley Third Sector Consortium

VCF organisations in Knowsley are setting up a consortium to bid for tenders.

A workshop in November was attended by many local service providers, and broad endorsement was secured for the idea of setting up a working group.

This working group of thirteen (which includes Knowsley Disability Concern, Platform 51, and Age UK Knowsley), has now produced a business plan, membership prospectus and identified a legal model.

Peter Ogunsiji is considering setting up a social enterprise car care scheme in Liverpool for people who are unable to carry out basic maintenance checks on their car. (This could include people with impairments, or those who are not sure how to carry out basic safety checks).
