Help with mentoring and with working with GPs

workingbetter logoMentoring and GPs: research in the Working Better programme

MDF is a partner with a number of other local groups and Transnational partners in the Working Better programme, funded through the European Social Fund.

MDF's role is carrying out research into the activities and issues that the partnership working raises.

Two areas that we have been studying are

  • the opportunities for GPs to act as signposts to services and support from voluntary groups and
  • the benefits of mentoring to support people from excluded groups

We have now produced two reports into these areas, in particular setting out the sort of actions that voluntary groups - our Working Better partners and others - might be able to carry out in these two fields.

You can download these reports here in pdf format
