Survey on Personalisation

Follow this·link to take our 10-minute survey

What's happening about Personalisation?

Merseyside Disability Federation· on behalf of the North West Disability Partnership (NWDIP) sent out a survey in November 2011 to explore people’s experience of Personalisation and personal budgets. More than 90 responses were received and our report was read with interest by voluntary groups, local authority officers and providers of services. You can find this research if you follow this link.

Have things changed?

We are doing a follow-up piece of research to see if the situation has changed now local authorities are nine months further on in their work on personal budgets. We want to hear your views and experiences of Personalisation.· Is it working for you/your service users?·How could things work better in your view?

Influence policy

This is an opportunity to influence policy development and local implementation in a changing world. We will present the findings of this survey at a major conference on 16th October at Aintree Racecourse to a mixed audience of providers, voluntary, statutory and health organisations. We will also publish a results summary on our website so that everyone can see what was said.

Our deadline

The deadline to complete this short 10-minute survey is midday, Monday 8th October 2012.

Help us break barriers

We believe this piece of work is important to build an independent North West picture about the experiences of disabled people and the organisations that have a role to play in removing the barriers that disable people.

Pass it on ...

Please circulate this information to your networks. Our apologies if you have already received this· but it is really important that we get this out to as many people and groups as possible across the North West so everyone gets to have their say.
