Trustees for Halton Disability P'shp

Trustees wanted for Halton Disability Partnership

Halton Disability Partnership is seeking to recruit people to join its Board of Trustees. This is an opportunity to join the organisation at an exciting time in its development, and help to guide it through a period of growth whilst working in partnership.

All the current Trustees have an impairment in line with all the recognised definitions of a User Led Organization (ULO). It is not a requirement that all the Trustees must be disabled people, and we are interested in hearing from anyone with an interest in joining with us in our objective of "the relief of people with disabilities or long term conditions in Halton and the surrounding areas".

Knowledge of disability issues would be advantageous, but other experience such as staff and service development, and partnership working, will also be valuable.

Trustees Meetings take place every 6 to 8 weeks.

If you would like to find out more about Halton Disability Partnership, go to our website:

To discuss the Trustee vacancy, please contact Tom Baker (Chair) on 0151 480 8873 (this is Knowsley Disability Concern, where Tom works).

In line with our commitment to protect vulnerable adults and children, HDP requires its Trustees to have a CRB check.

Applications for the Trustee vacancy should be in the form of a written statement of not more than 500 words describing your experience, the reason for your interest in the role and what you think you could bring to Halton Disability Partnership. Please send this by e-mail to:
