Regional ICT Champions

There are nine regionally-based champions for ICT working across England with ChangeUp consortia.  (ICT? That's "Information and Communications Technology" - computers and the Internet).

The ICT champions are people  with a track record of giving reliable and authoritative ICT advice to the voluntary and community sector, Funded by Capacitybuilders and coordinated by NAVCA, they help ensure that ICT plays a positive role in sustaining a strong and effective third sector.

"Our work is to build the capacity of established networks and support services at local, regional and national levels, to develop resources and to provide signposting so that organisations can use technology more efficiently and effectively. We support members of ChangeUp Consortia, local support and development organisations (such as a CVS’), Volunteer Centres and other specialist support agencies working with third sector staff, volunteers and trustees".
